Possible Clue: When Eragon goes to comfort Saphira after she and Glaedr fight, he finds a GREEN dragon egg shell fragment    There are people who think Angela is the next (maybe current if that thing has anything to do with the new dragon) Dragon Rider. I would prefer Roran, Ayra, or (depending on how much time has passed) Roran and Katrina's baby! It would be scary if Elva was though 0_o

Personally, here is what i think will happen:
He tries to fight Galbaratorix, and fails, but lives, goes to the soul tree thingy, gains strength, goes back and defeats galbatorix, with help of green rider who was at soul thingy, and then afterwards they leader all the humans to the land across the sea so that this doesn't happen again, and that the magical creatures can live in peace, without human interference...

I dunno, that just seems like the stereotypical plotline that it would be...
