help with time zones

Every time i change my time zone to GMT it changes back to -05 est.
Can anybody help??

This is a problem that's been around for a long time, and I think the decision was to keep it so it couldn't be changed. That way, we all see the same time.  smile

Yep - 06dknibbs got it right. EST or whatever it is, is referred to here as Scratch Time.  tongue
