So i just installed the new IE9 and there's a problem... When I try to go to a project it says something along the lines of "Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem."
I can't even get to the page the project has on it! It works fine if I run it in compatability mode but i thought that this should be addressed. On to testing the new Flash player with IE 9
Please stop saying "Use ____(enter another browser name here)____ instead!" That's not the point of this thread. The point is to bring attention to a possible issue I found and to see if anyone else is having the same problem.

I've gone back to IE8 (too many websites don't support it yet
), but this should be addressed before IE9 becomes more widely used

that's not the point. the point is that IE9 has problems with the website.

Just try a different browser. I have 0 problems with Chrome Dev on this site.
If you are forced to use IE, have you tried compatibility mode with this site?

whats the point of using internet explorer in the first place

Thanks for bringing this up...let's see if we can get more information on this problem.
Just to verify...you can't even get project pages to load? With the Java viewer or the Flash Viewer? How about the Home page, does that load?
Is anybody out there using IE9 successfully with our website?

Daffy22 is the person that comes to mind when that last sentence is mentioned.
He is an IE9 lover, and the entire site works absolutely fine for him.

it gives me an error message. i don't know if they fixed it or not though. i went back to IE8 because nearly none of the sites i visit the most had updated to work with IE9 (google docs was horrible!)
If i remeber correctly, the home page/userpages/forums/any non-project page worked fine. I only got the error message for project pages (the one mentioned in the 1st post). It will work in compatability mode though (some may not know about that though). It was on the Java player. When I ran in the Flash player, in compatability mode, on IE9 though, for some reason it said i didn't have flash installed. I went and checked a game site i go on that uses flash and it worked fine. I downloaded IE9 when it was only a week old though so they may have fixed some stuff by now.

again, not the point of this thread.

I get this same problem with IE9. I thinks it's a problem with the JavaScript code that embeds the project into the page.

Not the point. I'm gonna start reporting posts like this in this thread because they are off topic.

Internet explorer is still new, there lots of incompatibility. Launch project using firefox. Firefox browser compatibility with codes is very good. The type of problem can be fixed in project, with css code adjusted for IE BROWSER.
