Well, I've always had a good relationship with books, and they've even made a huge impact on my life. People know me as the "bird nerd" or the "dinosaur nerd" because I've studied up on them with the help and knowledge of books. Not only are they educational, but they're fun to smell, especially a new one (I know a few agree with me on this). Also, there is nothing like turning a page and seeing what's on the next page. This was always great. I read for school assignments, for fun, for research, and a lot of other things. Lately, however, a few of the bookstores in my area (some that I really loved) have closed, due to e-"books". Well, we spend almost half our lives looking at TV screens, computer screens, and cell phone screens. Why not make books into screens? I think otherwise. Ever since I heard about e-books, I was somewhat disappointed. How could the world give away one of the best gifts to mankind? It just seems man has become too much with technology. I think you should leave things the way they are. Books are great, in my opinion, and they shouldn't be replaced just because e-books come along. I've only recently grown more upset because of some of the bookstores closing down. E-books are the cause. It's even on the news! I just did this to see if other people agree with me, and I just want to hear your thoughts on it. Do you agree with me? I sure, as heck, don't like e-books replacing actual books. It just doesn't seem right.
(BTW, ingnore my sig. I wanna keep this on-topic, not off-topic.

In some situations, yeah, but I'm more upset because they've replaced real books. I don't hate e-books, I just don't like them too much. Definitely, not a fan.

One of of my favorite book stores got closed down, and I'm quite sad about it.
My grandma isn't though, she says it's to make way for the E-Stores.

I am, too. One that got closed down, which was a Borders, gave me good memories... Now, it's history...

I tried to get into e-books, never worked. They are nice, and more convenient, but I'd still rather have the physical book.
It's also nice for filling in a series you don't have a few books for.

Yeah, I tried it, too. They're not bad, but just not my sorta thing... Especially after the incident with the bookstores...

I would much rather turn a page then I would read an E-book. Anyway, your sig is hard to ignore, but just ignore this part.

I LOOOOVE real, good books, but I think e-books are fine too. They're convenient. (I like the smell too
)*
*Real books, not e-books. That would be weird, lol

Well, yea good 'ol fashioned books are good. But I think the e in e-book stands for environmental-friendly. For the good 'ol fashioned books you have to use lots ad lots of paper. but for the e-book it can ruin peoples eyesight. Overall, I think both are great, but bad at the same time.

Both have their pros and cons... However, regular books stick out as the best...
