For about a half of a second, the power went out.
Somehow, the computer didn't turn off.
SCARY O_O
Did I mention that the power went out while I was in the bathroom?

Interesting. That might have happened because of the capacitors in the motherboard. They store a very small amount of charge, so if the power was only off for a split second, if might have been enough to keep the data in the RAM saved. Just an idea though.

That happens a lot in wind storms.
That does happen often here during summer. My HD box thingy takes time to load, so it is annoying when it happens, and my other TV is old, so it takes time to turn on.
Computers do that.

Is it a laptop?
Ultra low voltage desktop?
On a different grid system from the lights?

Probably had enough power stored in the cable to last. Happens a lot with chargers. (i.e. they aren't plugged in, yet they still charge the computer for a few seconds.)
