Embedding Projects into the Forums

Maybe we could find some way to put scratch projects into forum posts somehow? That'd be cool.

Re: Embedding Projects into the Forums

IDK, it would probably be easier to just link.  hmm

Re: Embedding Projects into the Forums

I think this would cause problems with loading the pages, considering you could end up with many embedded projects in some cases. Like scimonster said, why not just link?

Re: Embedding Projects into the Forums

Perhaps it doesn't load the project until a button is clicked? I know that can be done browser-side, but not sure if it can be done through HTML...

Re: Embedding Projects into the Forums

or... you could have the ability to turn the feature on and off. so say it's on so the post would look like this:

if it was off, it would just show the thumbnail preview and the pic would link to the project, like on the normal site

emmeded games wouldn't be quotable though... we could use [project][/project] tags with the URL in between. probably you would have to have it only load if you click on the green flag (so multiple projects don't load at once). and only register it as a view if you click on the green flag.

i kinda like this idea  smile

This is physically impossible to do as the Scratch Team is not lolcattish.

Therefore, I support. +1

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.
