Re: Paranormal Experiences

You guys have no idea how hard it is being the evil guy behind these stories.  I mean, for starters, you have to deal with not being discovered until the climax, just dropping subtle clues (but not too subtle, God it's annoying when they don't catch on), and not get scared yourself during the dark scenes.

And then there is the tiresome set up of rigging lights to turn off when you press a button or planting miniature air control systems to make the room go cold when you want.  Once I even had to make an entire building rock back and forth a bit.  Making these haunted scenes believable is just soo difficult sometimes.

And guess what the pay is?  "The satisfaction of having another story made about you."  Pfft.  Stupid boss.

+2000 I agree. Some of these people seem to just be making up fake stories. I mean, the blood and darkness is really getting old. It makes believe it's just another made-up story... lol

Well, technically, it is impossible to not believe in the paranormal. You just proved it yourself with your lucid dreaming statement. Paranormal doesn't always mean bigfoot, ghosts, vampires. It just really means "out of the ordinary", which is why ghosts and all those other things are associated with the word "paranormal" because they are out of the ordinary. I mean, what if you did see a ghost, you wouldn't think that's very ordinary. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, doesn't matter. Again, "paranormal" just means something that isn't normal.

My event is just weird. So it was 5:20 in the morning.  I woke up and it was still dark outside. I live in an apartment building. And there's a long stairway. And i heard something walking on the stairs. They were loud and heavy sounding. There was a peephole on the door and I looked through. There was nothing there. Then there was a low pitch buzzing sound. And then the apartment shook. The shaking was light. Then it all stopped. I went to the main room and I wanted to get something to eat. The kitchen was dark. When my eyes started to see better to the dark I saw a face. It was pale and it stared. Then it walked into the darkness. The lights in the kitchen cut on. But, one of the knives was gone. I wanted to get a flashlight from the storage room , but when I opened the door i heard the sound of a knife being sharpened. The next day the knife was back in the place were it was before. But now the only weird things that happen is things disappearing and reappearing in a place the is out where anybody can see it.

Wow. I thought he was going to stab you!!! SHEESH!!! Don't scare me like that!!! OK???

Here's a story from Paranormal About, in which a woman claims she saw a raptor.
Thanks for posting so much on this topic, everyone!

This happened to me and my grandpa on a hunting trip in July, 2008. I don't see my grandpa very often, so I always take the chance to take trips with him. Grandpa is pretty much an outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and just being out in nature.

Grandpa and I were out in the woods. It was around 3 to 3:30 o'clock on Friday the 25th of July. I was 18 at that time. We were on grandpa's land in Georgia. It's a pretty place with the typical Georgia woodland and a few grassy plains. We were walking on a little rocky road heading for a site where grandpa often sees deer. As normal, there were a lot of sounds going on at night in the woods. We ignored most of them and remained quiet to not scare away anything.

Suddenly, we heard an unusual noise we never heard before on our many hunting trips. Grandpa looked at me and listened. Then he raised his finger in front of his mouth to show me that we shouldn't make any more movements. I heard a lot of movement and more of the noise. I can't really describe the sounds, but I sure can describe what I saw, even when it was pretty dark.

We just kept listening to the sounds as suddenly something came walking slowly out of the bushes and onto the road maybe 150 yards in front of us. My eyes got really big, and at that moment I wasn't even scared, just amazed to see this creature. We didn't move. As crazy as it sounds, it looked just like a raptor from the popular Jurassic Park movies.

I just froze because I thought things like that lived many thousands of years ago. It had a long, stiff tail, walked on two feet and had short arms. It looked lizard-like and had a huge claw on both of his feet and smaller claws on his arms. Since the creature appeared to us that it could run fast, we decided to just not move at all. It raised its head in the air and it seemed like it was smelling the air. I estimate its height around 5 feet at the shoulders. After sniffing the air, it made these sounds again and turned around and ran off in the bushes.

Grandpa and I waited until we felt safe again and then quietly made our way back to the truck and drove home. In the truck, we talked to each other about what we had seen and decided to not tell it to grandma because she would think we were crazy.

I never believed in stuff like ghosts and creatures and paranormal stuff, and I still don't believe in ghosts. But since that encounter, I believe in creatures that science doesn't know about. That's my story, as odd as it sounds. I know what i saw.

I DO believe in ghosts, but that COULD have been a bear, but, you never know...

Re: Paranormal Experiences

I was walking across an oval when a ball of tried sticks came rolling past (Like in those old western movies).

Here's something strange that I can do.

Mobile phones make my head hurt when the signal passes through my head. (I solve this by turning around and putting the volume up higher to keep it away from my head.) Big powerlines and power stations also cause it.

Radiation makes my brain hurt in one spot and only that spot.

Re: Paranormal Experiences

On halloween night just last year...

I was in the woods trying to find old Weezer records when suddenly, a pack of 5 year olds all dressed up as the scream tackled me.
"Let's cut off his nose first." said the leader. "Then let's scoop out his eyeballs and replace them with his ears." I couldn't let them do this. In the time it took to think up my plan, they had tied me up. I saw one reach for a knife.

He would have killed me, then and there, but he had to walk up to me first. He kept tripping on plants and rocks and his own robe for his costume. I struggled to find out what to do. I wiggled me feet. I wiggled my hands. I felt something sharp and plasticy. I turned my head and saw a cracked Weezer green album vinyl! I cracked it and threatened the kid with it.
"You wanna piece of 2001? I will cut you! You'll be cryin' back to mamma to fix up the small wounds given to you by alternative rock music!" I used the plastic blade to unhitch me from the rope. I threatened all of the kindergarteners and they went running away.
"Next time it'll be Green Day!" I yelled back. That's the last I saw of them. Ever. And guess what? I found the red album, raditude and pinkerton on the way back to my home.

You don't have to believe me, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Re: Paranormal Experiences

This happened when I was 5 or 6, (when i lived in Texas) But I'm pretty sure it was real. A I'll tell you the story: So me and my older cousin walked to my room, and behind my long (I think about 5 foot) pillow, on the side of my bed touching the wall, something that looked like 3 blasts of black liquid going up, the one in the middle a little bit taller, and both me AND my cousin saw it. We looked around my bed, calling my cousin's older brother's (my even older cousin) name, but found nothing. I'm thinking it might of never happened, because it is very hard to believe, but it's still in my head.

Re: Paranormal Experiences

I had a lot of dreams when I was 4,5,6, and now I keep having deja vu. It started when I fell of a swing when I was 9 or 10, and the split second before my head hit the ground, it occured to me that the exact same experience happened before, and I never had fallen off a swing before.
Just today I had one; in language studies, the teacher accidentally turned the volume up WAY too high and played a soundtrack that blasted our ears off. I always feel deja vu at random times, it's kinda like my subconscious records it (because the subconscious records everything) and links it because of an exact same experience.
I'll have a go at the psi thing tomorrow. Sounds cool, unlikely and possible at the same time.

Re: Paranormal Experiences

Well... there's a very scary book I know. It's really old and Reader's Digest published it. My grandpa owns it. It's called "Mysteries of the Unexplained". It has some VERY scary things in there, but it's also very interesting to read. I never used to believe in paranormal events, but I think I kind of am now, ever since I read that book.... they have a website. I think it's called theunexplainedmysteries.com but I'm not sure. Just google it. XD

Re: Paranormal Experiences

I also have lots of deja vu.... I have a dream, and the next day (or a few days later), the exact same thing in my dream happens somewhere in the day. I don't remember the dream until I actually see it in real life. My dreams are always blurry and not the right colors and so 'out of focus', if you know what I mean, but in real life, I can always recognize the dream. Also, my dreams that have ME in them always have at least two other people in them...
