Scratch resources is an awesome library of scripts, sprites, backgrounds, and more. There's only one tiny problem with it: It's a pain to exit scratch, open a browser, go to the website, download an object, find it on your computer, and import it into scratch. To make it easier, I thought of an idea that would make it MUCH easier. You know scratch's pre-installed library of sprites and sounds? Well, what if getting objects from SR was as easy as getting the gobo sprite (or any other sprite, for that matter), and uploading objects to SR was as easy as uploading projects? Well, that's exactly what I'm proposing!

I remember Fullmoon made this really cool Scratch resources downloader app.
It made life easier for me.

Yesh, fullmoon made a wondrous app called "Scraps." It's highly interesting - give it a go!
Scraps
As for your suggestion, it's been suggested a lot before, and I think it'd be an interesting addition to Scratch.

Agreed! Thanks for sharing.
In this customizable user pages mockup I made, resources are first class, like projects. They can have comments, remixes.
And you can quickly find what you're looking for by filter by type of resource, tags...
Not filtered, shows projects and resources:
Filtered by just backgrounds by others, notice that it shows what common tags of backgrounds this user likes the most:

Yes, Scratch Resources should really be integrated with Scratch 2.0
