Is it finally past RC? Or no?

If I can tell anything by the RC, it's that it's Chrome+Opera with a twist of Firefox. And it has a really nice Javascript engine.

Oh, and Tab Groups. Best thing ever since sliced bread.

I use Chrome. Actually, I like any browsers (including Firefox) but IE.

Re: Firefox 4.0

I use it on my Mac. I would use it on my laptop, but it's too annoying to have to double click a script.

Re: Firefox 4.0

I actually prefer Chrome because I always go back after I try another browser. I'm stuck to Chrome. It's very fast and slim. That is all.

But I did use Firefox before Chrome, and I liked its addons.

Side note: I switched from Chrome Stable to Dev, and installed Canary on part with my main browser.  tongue

I used to use Chrome. It's buggy on Linux, so I don't anymore.

Re: Firefox 4.0

I've gotten IE and Firefox to crash. Chrome has never failed on me. Yes, tabs crashed but the entire browser stayed up. I'm now using Chrome 11 Dev (and chrome 12 canary)!

Re: Firefox 4.0

Gack!  I downloaded Firefox 3.5 or something and now suddenly I find myself using 4.0.

Automatic updates?  What sort of black magic is this?

Maybe you think you downloaded 3.6 (3.5 is old) but actually downloaded 4.0.

Nope, definitely 3.5.  I downloaded it years ago and now I notice it's a new version.

Silly witches.

Re: Firefox 4.0

Chrome also auto-updates, but you can also check for an update manually by going to the wrench and clicking About Google Chrome. In that window, if there is a new update, it installs, no questions asked.
