My iPod's screen is CRACKED! I was about to return it at Wal-Mart and accidentally dropped it and now the screen is cracked. The entire top-left corner is missing!

EDIT: Will have a pic soon.

Your iBrick has now been upgraded to iBroke

I had to replace mine since I cracked mine so bad I saw wires. It was still working, so we replaced it. We had a warranty at BestBuy for accidental drops.

I see the underthings of the touchscreen! I still have an iWarrenty lasting for about 280 days though. How did you manage to wipe your Touch? I have the Limera1n jailbreak and I need to hide it from Apple. Restoring isn't working.

Go into DFU mode and restore.

Is your warranty voided?
No, I still have 280 days left on it. I haven't told Apple it's jailbroken yet.

It stayed at the Connect to iTunes screen for a great deal of time before rebooting again back to the loops and crashes. I called Apple and made it clear that the iTouch was jailbroken. He said to restore and reinstall my firmware but that can't happen as I have dial-up.

That was just 1 person, not the whole company so they shouldn't have that stuff on file.

You better hope that's just it.
Try to get into DFU, you know hold home+power for 10 seconds then release power and hold home for 15+ seconds?

What good does that do? Restore has never worked for me.

Restoring from DFU works for me. You always get an error? What do you try to do? Restore from a hacked IPSW?

I restore from an IPSW downloaded from Apple themselves. I just Shift+Click restore and select the IPSW. I get 3194 and 3014 errors after the verification with Apple process. Can you compile iDeviceRestore for me?

Is iTunes talking with Cydia and not Apple (this is done to downgrade)? If yes, does Cydia have SHSH blobs for 4.1 for that exact device?
