I am very, very, VERY Excited!!!!!!!
I just bought flash, and I am planning to make my first game in it and release it soon! Of course, I will have to use the money I was saving for the 3DS to buy it, but the 3DS can wait 
. What should I make first in flash?

Hmm... you could try doing something that's easier in Flash than Scratch 
What type of project are you interested in? If you like puzzle games, I recommend something other than the classic puzzle where you slide blocks around; it's been done too often
Since you're new to Flash, you should probably start simple - maybe a little racing game?

I got flash macromedia for free when I saw the installer and the key (for unlimited licences) sitting on a computer. Have fun!
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I was able to get the student edition of CS5 for US $ 179.99!
And @ JonathanPB, I'm going to probably make some simple puzzle game first, but then I have some secret projects that have ties to some unfinished games of mine...

Nah, don't feel like it. Anyways, when I finish my first game, Scratch will be the first to know (And maybe test out)!
