OS Collaboration

Hey, guys, I'm making an OS in Scratch, and I'd like to have some people helping me. I have some ideas:
- NoteTaker (Word Processing)
-Loudmouth (Chat with Mesh)
- Music player (No name yet- I have this one under controll)
If you want to join, just say what you would like to do, and I'll try to find something for you.

Here's the link to the teaser: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/WingsGames/1653729

Okay! Thanks! I think I'll work on a media player and maybe some games.

Re: OS Collaboration

Hey, guys! Do you have any ideas of what we should put in the OS?

Also, here's the link to the gallery where you should drop off your stuff:

That'd be great! Thanks! If you could spread the word, that would be cool, too!

Re: OS Collaboration

@ william34: What part would you like to do?

@ Boogerman96: I'm already making the music player, but if you want to help me or make a movie player, that'd be great!

@ Everyone: I'm almost done. Give me until next weekend and I'll have the accounts and the beta music player done.

If you want to, I guess you can (I don't really know much about incorporating the internet in Scratch).

You don't.
You can't, to be honest.
Simple enough.

Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

Re: OS Collaboration

Sorry I took so long to reply. NoteTaker is almost done, just need to iron it out a bit. I've written it so it'll be easy to add to the OS (as long as nobody else uses variables, lists, or broadcasts beginning with NT).

Re: OS Collaboration

For chatting with mesh, I don't think it will be possible, because mesh only works short distance.

I know, but if you downloaded it, you could chat short distance. Wouldn't that be cool?

PS: Do you want to join the Collab?

Nah, I'm in too many Collabs already XD. I just wanted to point that out. It would be kind of difficult to use, I think, but it would be cool. Hmmmm... Maybe I could just make a simple prototype of that for you to use? I wouldn't completely join, I would just do that...

Re: OS Collaboration

I'd be happy to help, I have made some operating systems already. I am good with graphics, and making things like app stores!

I wouldn't mind what position I take, but I would recommend graphics.

Example of an OS I did myself: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/SabGames/1666706
