I like punk stuff. I'm a big punk myself. I love the clothing style, mixing black with color, and you can stand out. Another thing that I like about punk is that it's probably the most expressive style you can get. (Sure, goth is expressive, but not really positively.) One band I really like is the Dandy Warhols. They are SOOOOOOOO cool. They're pretty unknown, but if you search them on youtube, I bet you'd like some of their stuff. I also like Bon Jovi and Green Day, but do those count as punk bands? Well, the point is, I like either punk or really hard rock. I think I'll sing Livin' on a Prayer for the school talent show.

Bon Jovi is classic rock, not punk. Green Day though, are responsible for bringing punk to the mainstream, so they are definitely punk.
Dude, Bon Jovi is godly.

I never said they weren't good, I just said they weren't punk.
Bon Jovi's pretty good, although a little bit overrated in my opinion.

Even though punk sounds bad(not the songs, the word), it actually is better then other music these days. Its actually kind of old school. Thats what makes it good. I do not really listen to it much, but I know some great punk songs.

They are overrated because fans like me exist.

Uh Panic! At the Disco is okay. I kinda like Blink-182 (Mostly because of Jack.) My brother used to like Jimmy Eat World until he started to like stupid american pop instead.
+Greenday is Awesome
Look at my sig for the stuff I like. You probably don't know anyone but U2 lol.

I was at the U2 concert 18 Feb. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
At one point Bono was doing this HIV awareness thing at the concert and while singing he pulls this chick out of the crowd to dance with him.
She hugged him and wouldn't let go. He had to shove her off.

Well, of course you do.
But Thriving Ivory? If not, look them up. They are amazing. (Well I am guessing not to you since they are not anything close to gorrilaz)

I agree. U2 is also awesome. I like Magnificent.

My fave album was "How to Dismantle a Atomic Bomb"
Woah. If they ever made U2 underwear, they should have that line on them.

Just because I really like Gorillaz, means I only like their style of music? That's a stupid assumption.
Anyway, I just listened to Thriving Ivory, and they're pretty good.

Sorry.
I think I am one of the only people on scratch that will admit that I'm wrong.

Ska alone can get boring, but Ska-Punk is freaking awesome IMO.

It's sad how classical music is deprived these days and less recognized. River Flows in Me is excellent, but it's somehow less known than Lady Gaga's songs. Nevertheless, pop songs are cool though.

my only real experience with punk is that whenever i search for alternative funk it suggests alternative punk (and then i cry some more)

I think War and Boy are better musically.
