Apartments? Like houses, each person has their own floor for those who can't afford a regular pre-built house, and doesn't want to build there own
Mail-Each person has an inbox and an outbox. The mailman, (a person who voluntarily does this job but accepts small donations) will deliver things in the outbox to the according inbox.

Let's say this is mine in my wall: w=wood, c=chest, s=sign]

Code:

the sign would look like:

and if a delivery wanted,

Public rollercoaster-one bigger than the current one, basically. Make an elevator to get there or something, but not just a ladder on the wall. a ladder in the corner is fine though, that's easier for people.

SOLUTION FOR MCRT PROBLEM!
you know how after you ride the mcrt ride, it ends up and the end place, and you have to push it all the way back to the start?
well, someone have a furnace in their inventory, donate it, and:
when someone rides it, before they do that, they take the furnace.
after they ride, they break the minecart and craft it to attach the furnace.

use coal to push it up, make sure there's enough.

no need to push!

wastes a coal every time though...


OH, QUESTION TO THOSE SUBWAY BUILDERS:
what can we do with the minecarts in the chests with the coal?
does someone get to keep it? or is it just going to sit there?

Mail idea isn't too necessary since you can just give stuff personally to them. The furnace minecart one wouldn't work since the slopes in that coaster are too steep.

You may have the fences, wood is actually really easy to get. With 1 log you can build 2 fences, and trees have like 5 logs or more 

The subway chest is full of INVEdited items actually, so it doesn't really belong to anyone.

Also, OMG I FINALLY FOUND SOUL SAND AND I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I WANTED IT FOR:



And while I was at it, I managed to kill a ghast by sword, and found lots of glowstone

Added stuff:

-Put someone's (kayybee?) inventory in a chest near Math's mine.
-Now you can buy the Chestful O'Pork for 1 diamond at my shop!    That's 27 pork, perfect for personal healing stations and the such. Also now 1 iron buys 6 pork.
-Water elevator in Math's mine, for those that are too lazy to go up ladders like me.

k, how about at least an inbox?

or else people without a inbox will have to make a new chest for them or go into their chest inside.

When I opened the save, I had your inventory stuff. I didn't label the chest though, I was in a hurry so I didn't make a sign D: Sorry for that, hopefully nobody steals stuff.

Water elevators are basically a column of water, which you drive boats into so they rise very quickly. The only bad thing about the one in Math's mine, is that you'll have to constantly replace boats    But I put like 14 in a chest.
