Kileymeister is actually telling the truth. You really have to keep a cool head.
But with the bully who continues even after, you have to show him/her this isn't a game.

Re: Bullying

I almost never tell the teacher because all they say is "Say your sorry","you shouldent have done that" or somthing like that. In second grade, we watched a movie where a girl was being bullyed and then the bully(s) started bullying her brother, witch made him hit his head on the diving board and guess who got punished? The girl being bullyed! And the only thing she did was go up on the diving board steps to stop the bully. Mean teacher  sad  .

Re: Bullying

Really, I know what you mean. Teachers don't work. The best person to tell is your parents or your tutor, and if it's really bad, your head of year (grade) manager. I just think it's best to tell someone that's higher up in the school or knows you more personally than most teachers do. Never speak to some random, wandering teacher because that will never help.

But if a bully did attempt to attack me, I'd:
1. Tell the teacher.
2. If that didn't work, then I'd tell their parents.
3. If  that didn't work, I'm pretty sure bullying is a form of physical abuse, and you can report the bullies to the police. Of course, that might just make them want to get revenge on you...

I would progressively get higher in the school system.
First the bully
then the teacher
Then one of the counselors
Then the principal
Then finally (I have never gotten to this level) the superintendent

Yes, my parents have the principal once, because nothing else seemed to be working and the teacher did nothing. All teachers really start taking care of things when their job gets threatened.

Re: Bullying

I usually just get told "Ian, you're pretty quiet today." by someone every day and pats me hard on the back. He's mean at everyone, and almost everyone hates him. But he's really mad at someone else, and he even got suspended because of a fight. He doesn't do it much now.

In Korea, someone spread a fake rumor about me. Most people know the rumor is fake. Not my problem now, I moved from Korea.  tongue

Why are the protesting teachers protesting in Wisconsin? Their jobs are threatened.  lol

Discuss bullying here.

I don't get bullied  smile  That's because I'm smart and funny and awesome and ranking 3 in school popularity. All the teachers love me too  big_smile

I was actually a bully ^^" You might think that they want a reaction, yet they don't. That's just dumb adult fiction. They just despise you, in a kind of way about how you look, what you wear, your interests, etc.

There's this group at school we call "The BoogerEaters". They pick their noses, use everything BUT a tissue to wipe their nose, and don't wash their hands. NEVER pick your nose. EVER.

Yet, I can help.

What do you wear? What do you get called in general? Give all the details please  smile  (like MusicStar888 did)

Hey I'm that kid, except I'm not fat.

Plus, when someone bullies me it usually ends in blood and tears.

Usually their blood and their tears.

Re: Bullying

The teachers advice is stupid. "The only reason they bully you is that they aren't happy" "If you don't react, they won't keep bullying you."
Honestly. I have heard this **** a million times and I learned the hard way the hard way that it never works. Never.
There's this person in my grade and I want to punch his face in SO badly. Why would parents, teachers or principals give a hoot about you getting bullied? When you tell the teacher, they just say "Well I'm sure it was accidental" and they never DO anything about it.

Agreed. Once, someone looked right at me and threw a ball HARD at my chest. The wind went right outta me. The teacher was watching the whole time, and said: "It was an accident, dear."

I swear I wanted to punch her to the point where she looked like the Montauk Monster, I was so annoyed. And I was an 8-year old girl. I can't imagine boys..

yikes  Do you act goth? Act like every second is the best time ever  big_smile

Try wearing vibrant colors (e.g.red, blue, green) and jeans (blue ones).

That should help  smile

And no muscle shirts.

Also, they probably call you that because of how you look or act.

Re: Bullying

Surprisingly, I don't get bullied. I'm certainly not popular- in fact, I'm a total nerd. I don't look like everyone else and I don't act like everyone else. But I do have a lot of really awesome friends.

I'm really sorry you get bullied. I know Chatter said that bullies don't bully to get a reaction, but I do think that might be a contributing factor. Try ignoring them or  making a joke out of their comments. If you haven't talked to your parents much, do that now.
