if i post a comment, how do i make a CHECK OUT PROJECT BUTTON, so others can check out my project?

Just post the project's URL, it automatically converts to a link.

You have to open your project in a different window, then copy its web address (the one that says http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/macandcheese/numbers) and paste it into the comment.

A URL is what is in the address bar at the top of the page.
For example for this thread it is "http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=58717"
To get it for your project go on to your project then copy and paste it from the bar at the top.
