Oh well, I guess I'm out of this hmm . Btw, I played minecraft beta and it was awesome! However, I think a 2D version of this would be very easy to do, so I'm gonna create one myself (also because I didn't do a thing in this one, so I don't deserve credit)

Ahhh the mining game. I feel like adding extra features to it, like powerups. And Lapis Lazuli. At least Lapis Lazuli would be great, just to fit in with the game. It'd be about as rare as obsidian is right now I guess.

As for the powerups: The idea is that when digging you randomly find chests with one-use special items to be used when mining, like a bucket of water which allows you to survive one lava fall, or an ore detector that tells you what's below each block. Should this be added or we just leave the game as-is and try to implement it?

Also I'll make a loop remix of Spelunkin' just for the mining game, if that doesn't slow it down much. Maybe also some ambient stuff a la C418 for the main game. wink

Alright, I'm going to continue working on this even if everyone else stopped. To start, I'm going to get a new team. If you're still active/want to continue on this, post here before May 12.
