finding projects once downloaded

I made a project about 6 months ago on another computer and posted it. Recently I decided I wanted to expand it because I am a lot better at scratching then I was. I downloaded it onto the computer I'm using right now and fixed all the glitches (there where alot) and aded a menu. I save-as'ed it once into the first folder that came up (I cant remember what it was but I asumed it was 'my scratch projects' at the time) and saved it when I was done then loged off my computer (it's a PC) an when I came back to post it I coudn't find it! It took like 2 or 3 hours so I don't want to redo it but I will if I have to. Where should i look?

Re: finding projects once downloaded

It's probably in your Downloads folder. (My Documents > Downloads) If not, you can always redownload it and check this time.  wink

Good advice! It's also sometimes helpful to use your computer's search function to look for all files on your hard drive that end in .sb. You'll find a lot of the sample projects that come with Scratch, but you also might find that one you lost.

Good idea; that works too. To do this, just open up "My Computer," open the C:\ drive, and in the search bar, and type *.sb

thanks, i went to documents and the files that where ther where: Algodoo, CyberLink, LDW, My Spore Creations and Scratch Projects. Scratch projects takes me to my projects but its not there, Algodoo and My Spore Creations are from other computer games, LDW takes me to another folder with only one file (another computer game) and I cant understand anything in CyberLink.  Any other advice before i try to remake it anyone? (i really dont want to do that, im lazy and it takes the fun out of scratch)
