BYOB is a must have for Scratch 2.0. It's a great tool. I would like to expand upon this idea.
First, a block manager. This where you can make, edit, and view blocks. The block manager will be next to the stage and have the tabs blocks and variables.
Normal variables will not be shown in the block manager. Only global block variables. Explained later.
Second, when making a block, the for this sprite only thing should be changed to;
Third, variables.
Scratch 1.4 has two kinds of variables, global and local.
BYOB has four, global, local, script, and block.
Scratch 2.0 (and/or BYOB 4) should have five; global, local, script, block, and global block.
Global block variables are variables that sprites can't see, but more then one blocks share. This is where the 'variable' tab in the block manager comes in to play.

But not everything. But then BYOB can go out on a completely different angle without having to worry about confusing scratch users when they merge.

I really don't see how they can't put in BYOB. The scratch team would be crazy!

Thanks! (By the way I hope they're not making zero point two, I was thinking for two point zero)

Yes, but I don't understand why those blocks would only be in the block maker. It would really limit the use.

guess its a worthy idea
i really hate byob though

Well, stop block, and report () are useless for scripts. But I could see how run, and launch would be useful. (IDK how the other work).

On the contrary:
also, debug and debug [] are pointless in blocks, and run, launch, and call are intended for use outside blocks.

All right I'll edit the post. (What do the debug blocks do?)

You should make a suggestion page. Don't know if everyone would agree with it, because what would you do when you are downloading something that has a made up block in it?
Support so badly though.

Yeah, I would if I had votes. Thanks.

I would support, but I am SSBBM and have already supported. Oh, well.
