To have this work, set this up with another person. You will be a Spy, and the other guy will be a Pyro on the opposing team. You must get into the enemy base. Once you meet up with your buddy in a desolate area of the base, have him light you on fire while you're disguised as an enemy Scout. Run into an area with a huge bunch of people, and they will most likely think that there's an enemy Pyro in the base (which of course there isn't.) Run off to a hiding spot so you can die unnoticed, while they go off in a fanatic Pyro-searching goose chase.
I did this just for the lulz, but you could plan it out with the rest of your team for a good surprise attack, if you're willing to be a kamikaze fighter, that is.

Only if Friendly Fire mode is on, which it isn't most of the time.

Start out as a demoman. Demomans are pretty good all around, so just be them.
If you and your team keep getting sniped, become a sniper and snipe the enemy snipers.
If you and your team keep getting killed by sentry guns, become a spy, rush in, and sap every structure you find as quickly as you can, it doesn't matter if you reveal yourself. If you go fast enough, engineers can't destroy the sappers in time.

spy: backstab and disguise sap sentries then backstab engineer after turning invisible.
engineer:build sentry guns in the most defensive places (it saves metal if u r near a resupply area).
heavy: call for medics and use your minigun in addition to his medigun (ubercharge is 1 less weapon but over 9000 more invincibility).
scout: just be in 2fort and yse your speed and double jump wisely.
sniper: boom headshot (like spies they backstab).
pyro: get up close.
solidier: u have a rocket launcher.
