I have lost 2 cats: a spotted tabby named Sally (it only lived 3 months sad x 100) and a brown tabby named Nala (lived to be 14, older than I am now).

I know how it feels. Just get through the first few days, and you will feel better. At least Dozie lived a long life (so did Nala).

I know what it's like, lost pets before. I have two dogs at the moment that are 11 & 13 years...

Aw, that's sad. I've lost friends, family, and pets. Instead of thinking about his/her death try remembering the fun things you've done with him/her.

That's really creepy, because I had a brown tabby named Nala that lived to 14 O.O

That's really sad. My family has two bunnies, the one that loves me and the one that hates me. While my brother and me were at summer camp, they got out of their cage. We found the one that likes me the next day, but that stupid other one ran away. Despite how much I hated that rabbit, I was really sad getting sleepless nights. Then one day, that stupid rabbit came back. A week later. How she survived... I don't know. But I had only had these rabbits a few months and it seems you had your dog for years... sad
