Re: Airsoft offical topic

A ton of people play it where I live, but that's all a lot of them talk about, so it gets annoying.

I play a lot. I go to a tournament every few months or so.

If you're just starting out, get a Spring Desert Eagle(found here). It is easy to use, it comes with an extra magazine and a holster, and it's just $30. If you get more interested in Airsoft, then you can buy bigger guns which are more expensive.

Re: Airsoft offical topic

It depends. The Sniper rifle cost me 74 pounds (120 US Dollars) and the M16 cost 93 pounds (150 US dollars)  But you can get a cheaper one for around 30 pounds (50 US Dollars)

Sorry for the British currency (i live in England)

I heard that electric and gas pistols are better.

They shoot with more power, but for beginners, they're hard to use. Electric is what you use when you get more comfortable, and gas is when you're older or play in tournaments.

Is it possible for me to start with electric or gas? I have experience shooting pistols. Also, what state do you live in?

Most states don't have laws for Airsoft guns. As long as the orange tip is on the end, it's legal.

You can start with an electric, but then get a rifle. Electric pistols break pretty easily, and they're expensive, so it's a waste of money. If you give me your price range, I can find you a good electric rifle.

Re: Airsoft offical topic

Okay, here's what I think would be good:
AEG M16(what I have) - $44.00
AEG M4 - $89.00
AEG M1(best deal) - $73.95

I think you should go with the last one because it is cheap, a good gun, and it comes with a mask and BBs.

Yeah, there are these regional tournaments I go to(called Players of War), and there are different game styles each time. A regular team deathmatch(we don't actually die  tongue ), defend the base, and capture the flag. Most people are 14-18, and I'm 12, but I still get pretty high scores.

If you want a visual of it, check out this guy's videos. This is still Players of War, except it is older people.
