Looks good.I heard because of Java, you couldn't upload projects over 10MB.Same deal with Flash?Hope not.
You will be creating your projects online. So you will only have to upload picures, sounds etc. btw will there be an offline version?
Yes.

What is vector graphics? The only think i know about vectors is what i learned this morning in geometry...Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.
Basically, you can zoom into a vector image as far as you want, and it still has good quality.
pretty much. we learned about them in Computer Game Design when we were doing Flash. i would understand about it being too new to use in scratch.... though it could be simplified from what it is in flash.
Cool! Now I really want vector graphics!

(Oh wait, you guys are probably expecting me to tell you?) XD
The truth is that we're still in "Alpha" stage. You've probably all heard of software being in "Beta." Well, before it's in Beta, it's Alpha. That means we're making stuff and trying it out, but anything could change. In fact, there's been some discussion about discarding the current userpage design in favor of one that's more like iGoogle (where you change / rearrange the widgets right on the page, instead of opening up an edit window). It's quite possible that we might like that way better....
So while we're in alpha, stuff is still up in the air, and we're trying to figure out which parts of what we come up with work well, and which we should throw away and re-invent. Good software takes time - a lot of time and a lot of careful thought. But, like most good things, it's worth the wait.

Aha! I knew it! It was my idea all along!
Before, I suggested that, but you guys just said "our team is only so large, and doing that would require many developers - we have a much smaller team than google" - at least, something along those lines. And now you change! Muahahahahahaha!

Cool. That may be easier, one less mode.
Thanks for sharing the process with us!
I'm curious what/if you all have considered to improve/replace: tags, galleries, love-its, favorites. Have you all considered my analysis of those major site sections and features? Thanks!

Please make scratch 2.0 able to easily download third party blocks from an online library - without all the source code hard to understand stuff.
