It finally bkew.
It wasn't that bad, thank god.
Anyway, things just seem to get worse and worse in Japan.

What about being sad because hundreds of people are dying
Not because an artist could die or you won't get a robot

For reasons less important than the hundreds of people in danger and all the destruction
Like really, you shouldn't be 'OMG SO SAD NO MORE ROBOTS'

It's probably a natural reaction to say "how is this going to impact me"? That does seem to be a very self-centered perspective though - hopefully we can expand our empathy to include all the victims of the disaster.

Certainly, this is a huge disaster and it is very serious. However, let's not get overly dramatic - Japan has survived much greater calamities, including a nuclear attack that took hundreds of thousands of lives. It will take a while, but they will get back on their feet again.
Oops! I'm on the wrong account - sorry.

"All Hell has broken loose" doesn't mean the world is going to end.

What is wrong with some people
It seems we only care about certain people and don't give a hoot about the rest of the population!
And that Godzilla joke is not funny
Allow me to quote the young artists for Haiti version of Wavin Flag:
“You probably think that it’s too far to even have to care,
well take a look at where you live what if it happened there?”

Yeah, but what did you expect? All nearly everyone here knows about Japan is video games, robots, and anime, so of course they'll react that way. Sad, but true. Now lets just wait for some crazed anti-anime dude to come in and watch what he does.

Its bad but not as bad as you think. The explosion did not involve the nuclear materials rather it was some hydrogen that ignited.

That makes sense; a nuclear blast would have been much worse and is highly unlikely to occur anyway considering that nuclear fission doesn't occur simply due to heat or an explosion. According to that article, the pressure and radioactivity in and around the reactor is lowering, which is fortunate. The last thing we want is another Chernobyl or a meltdown.

It is impossible for me to tell you how correct you are.
As stated by Paul Rusesabagina, "People see tragedies on the news and say 'Oh that's so terrible', and then they go back to eating their dinners."
