Yes! WOO!!!!!

When the earthquake hit, we couldn't find my grandparents, in Hachinohe, but we just go a call from them.
My uncle was in a building far away from the school, where we all hid.
He actually ran 40+ kilometers to get there.
Are all my fellow nihonjins all right?

That's great! I have been watching videos of the Earthquake and tsunami, but by force. I'd rather not. They're not pretty. It's good you're family and yourself are okay!
