It looks like you're trying to use one list across both computers? Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Lists are independent on each computer, Mesh only lets you sense variables and broadcasts.
It's possible to make a chatroom with Mesh, but you'll have to do it using only variables and broadcasts. I can't give an example because I'm going somewhere really soon, so try and figure something out on your own, or look at other Mesh projects for ideas.
