Autumn War:
Hunter and Star sat down on the log. Levi Forge kept watch for zombies. Thriller blared from an Ipod. "How ironic," remarked Hunter. "We're in a zombie apocolypse." A gunshot rang out. "Got another one." Said Levi, brandishing an AK-47. Hunter smiled. He got up and grabbed an M-16. "We need to get to a safe place."
"But where?" Asked Star.
"I don't know. Now let's go." Said Hunter.
The forest was quiet, other than the occansional gunshot. As they walked, Hunter thought about what brought him here.
The zombies appeared suddenly. As they infected more and more people, Hunter's parents and brother went to Church to pray to their god. Hunter was not religious, so he stayed home with a handgun he had in case of a robber. When a day passed, he began to worry. Hunter ventured outside and was overrun with zombies. Hunter started shooting until the zombies were all dead. Then he looked at the zombies, one by one. When he got to three of the zombies, Hunter started crying. He had shot his parents and brother by mistake. "No!" Hunter had screamed into the air. He took the handgun and put it to his head. "Don't kill yourself, fool." Said a voice behind him. Hunter turned and said, "Why not?"
In front of him was a young woman. "Because you need to survive. Come with me, Hunter."
"Who are you?" Asked Hunter.
"Call me Star."
"Okay." Said Hunter. He ran, following her through the streets. When Star stopped in front of a grocery store, Hunter stopped too.
"Run inside and get supplies. I'll siphon gas from cars to fuel my car."
"Okay."
Hunter ran inside and got some food. As he was rounding the corner, he ran into a zombie. Hunter screamed and the zombie grunted at him. "Ruh, aw, mm." It moaned.
Hunter shot it in the head and walked toward the canned food. There, he found another survivor.
"H-h-hello." The other survivor stuttered.
"Hello. Whom are you?"
"Levi Forge. And you?"
"Hunter. Get up."
Levi got up. "Are you with any other people?"
"Yes."
"Can me and my brother join you?"
"I guess so." Hunter said.
"Good. I'm going to get him."
Levi Forge walked off. As Hunter waited, he picked up a few cans and wondered if he was being too trusting. Maybe Levi and his brother wanted to him. Hunter didn't care about Star. She could die for all he cared. All he was concerned about was his survival.
"Hunter?" Levi asked.
"Yes?"
"Here's my brother."
Hunter looked at the boy. He had a wild look in his eyes and his clothes were tattered. He was muttering gibberish.
"We can't take him."
"Why not?" Levi asked.
"You can't see?"
"Please take him with us. He won't be an inconvenice."
"Okay." Hunter said.
Hunter, Levi, and the boy walked outside. Star was waiting for Hunter in the car. When she saw the guests, she raised her eyes but said nothing. They all got into the car and Star drove off.
"Where next?" Star asked.
"A camp ground maybe?"
"Okay."

Why do they have AK47s and things like that?
Why are they using the Ipod in the first place?
Also, it's okay but reads like a generic zombie story.
