how do you set an animation as your main picture

be as famouse as you can and if you cant be famouse deal with it

Upload a .gif file. You can find lots online.

You upload a .gif animation file instead of .png or .jpeg or whatever you normally upload.
Some software like GIMP lets you make your own animation, and some websites let you upload multiple pictures and turn it into a .gif file for you.

On a side note, if you want help its probably best to have your title something appropriate to your question like "Animated profile picture" and not just "???????????????????????????????????????????"

One can make animated gifs in Photoshop and Coral Draw as well. It is the combination of more than one image in the case of animating gif. We can fix the time of a image to appear and move away while following it's defined time cycle. One can test it's good amount of creativity with it just like a flash file. Have fun developing one.  smile <direction>

Next time, make the title relevant to the question.
