I hate sexist people they totally make life uncool yo
i mean why is one gender better than the other? all life was created the same
I mean I don't know about you guys but how many times have you been judged for your gender? i know guys think they're stronger because....they're guys.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH
but really this is stupid. why does it matter what gender you are
"oh he's a boy you can't be friends with him unless you have a crush on him"
"ugh i have to work with a boy ewww"
"pfft what a girl on our team? god we're gonna suck now"
i mean, physical, mental and emotional differences don't have much to do with whether you're male or female really.
I like snakes, fighting, and baseball does that make me any less "girl?" no
this is just a rant but feel free to add your opinions and experiences it's not north korea or anything (except for maybe joelisawesome)

i don't have very many experiences with sexism though
well
not since like pre-k where people said "no you can't like blue, it's a boy color" and i was like "there are no girl colors or boy colors, idiot" then they were like "TEACHER TEACHER SHE CALLED ME AN IDIOT" then i had to go sit in time out for two minutes
oh and silver told me to go make him a sandwich once

It's just plain old ignorant, like racism, homophobia, disrespecting other religions (unless they are the hardcore religious people), etc.
So it's okay to disrespect people who are hardcore religious?

also, what's up with girls being worse than math...? thats not true, its actually completely neutral
well i suçk but cmon really i hate math anyways

Okay, 8 through 11 year olds saying "Eww boys are gross" and "Ew girls have cooties" isn't exactly real sexism. It's just childlore and immaturity, and it's not exactly exactly a problem. You youngsters have yet to run into true sexism.
So, I don't think discussing this stuff is exactly a worthwhile way to spend your time. Go outside and play catch or something.

My football teammate (tackle) is the 3rd best in the league.
And my boy friend has like everyone who's a girl as a friend.
You probably got the "OMG SEXISM WEE" community.

no it's more personal than that considering these people are 12....13? and know very well that it's more than "cooties" so i find that invalid
here's a quote from someone i got off from Wikipedia
"In the area of band directors, it is a very masculine place. The majority of band directors are male. Does this mean that women cannot succeed in this arena of the work environment? Absolutely not. What it means is that they typically have to work twice as hard to get the same or at least close to the same amount of respect and success. Is this fair? Not at all."
see this is what im talking about >.> like, the baby girls haaave to read the princess books because they're girls and the boys just caaaaaan't play with the dolls

By hardcore religious, I mean Christians going around telling people they are going to go hell, for example.

Well I assumed you meant 8 through 11 year olds, that being the general case on this website.
Personally, If I think there aren't differences between sexes, then loose the label. But I don't.
ike, the baby girls haaave to read the princess books because they're girls and the boys just caaaaaan't play with the dolls
No one said that.... :? Thats just among individual people. Nothing stops boys from playing with girl toys and vice versa. It's just natural that after 6000 years (Agnostics can keep to themselves) of human development, Boys and Girls will have different interests.

that's my point, parents teachers and media are telling boys are girls what they SHOULD be, that they need to fit into a strict gender identity

Well, I agree. But with little kids it's okay because they don't know much. Actually sexism is much scarier.... We learned about women's rights in some countries around the world. Some of the stuff makes you want to cry.
