Discuss any malware you've had. I had a trojan that disguised itself as an anti-virus program. Took forever to get out.

OMG I've had that one before. We had to get an wntirely different computer because it got really bad. My little sister was trying to go the clubpenguin, but it came up with... bad stuff.

I used to get a virus everyday. Nothing ever happened. I now have an Apple so I haven't had a virus in years.
At school my friend gave the whole class a game called Destroy the Desktop. We had fun with it. Then one day I put my USB in the computer and the virus scan found a trojan in the game.
Moral: Don't get games from other people

How is AVG Pro a virus? My family uses it all the time. It was reccomended by a computer repairman, and it takes away viruses.

You are thinking of regular AVG.
AVG, AVG Free, and AVG Internet Security are the real thing.
AVG Pro is a scam, that makes people think it is the real thing by naming it after a trusted AV.
If you really do have AVG Pro, get rid of it with MBAM (Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware), get a real AV, and never hire that repairman ever again, because he/she made you use a fake AV.

Use Dual Boot Click and Distroy. Create a dual boot machine when you think somethings not right use the other OS to manage the infected OS.
Or a virtual PC with online storage. <--- Best protection.
