I'll take that spot. But I dunno what to build... Maybe an experimental mob trap, and of course demolish my Acres house to build a prettier brick one

How large were you planning your house to be?

I don't know, at most should be two story like the default one, but a little more expanded to the sides. I'll try to not build too much though

I've seen this page grow 30 pages within maybe a week, so I finally decided to download the world and see what it's all about, and here's my thoughts.
At first I was a bit unimpressed. The houses aren't exactly that extensive or large. Not architecturally interesting. But I think it has a uniqueness in itself.
After exploring, I see that there's a lot to the town. There are many shops, that are uniquely designed. One that specifically peaked my interest was one that provided supplies for kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms - very creative
.
Also, at the beginning, I thought it wasn't exactly that technological. After all, that erm, "disco floor", didn't impress me
. But there certainly is a cannon, I saw on top of one castle. And a minecart roller coaster, and a water slide. So that's nice.
I also really admire how you guys really share, and how there's so much "public this" and "public that" - I mean that in a good way. Having tree farms like that is wonderful. Great for newcomers.
So yeah - I wish you guys good luck on improving the town, to make bigger and better structures, and yeah! Maybe even I'll add a house of my own to inspire you guys sometime... :-)
Also it would be cool it you made perhaps, a Scratchia 2, which would be made using a biome terrain mod, so there's unique features, like bigger mineral veins, and stuff like that.

Here is the download The-Whiz.
I forgot to put my stuff in my chest, so can you do that for me? There is a sign outside my house(in Sunny Acres), so can you put my stuff in that chest? Thanks
What I Changed:
I bought a house in Sunny Acres
I expanded the public mine in Sunny Acres
I started building a community park in Sunny Acres

I guess I'll take it, but what do I do? BTW, I can only work on weekends...
Hm... Coal doesn't seem too hard to do.
If I find two stacks of coal and put it in the office, what do I do next?
Do I put a sign "kayybee's future house" or what?
BTW, are there lots of trees in that world? I'll need about 62 or so wood.

Lots of tree farms and stuff
. You don't have to buy the house if you don't want to- you can just build in Scratchia or outside Sunny Acres. Sunny Acres (where you were looking) is a membership/pay only neighborhood/town. Scratchia is behind the wooden bridge.

Nah, I want to build in Sunny Acres.
Closer to the roller coaster!
I might consider making another one too.
Wait. How much is it if I build it?
And how do you do farms? Or tree farms?
Yeah, I might just consider building parks and stuff
Maybe a public... um... art gallery?
something like that... I'll do something when I get an idea.
for the poll, i say C.

You think that ores shouldn't have a set value, like dollars, quarters, pennies, etc.?
And it'll cost like 20 coal or 10 iron if you want to build in Sunny Acres.

20 COAL?!?! That's it?!?!
You should have told me earlier!
Anyways, I guess when it's my turn, I want to do it!
Is there a public place to look for iron? Just wondering?
Anyways, is there a limit to how high my building is? Or can I go as high as I want?
Because as I like to do it, I build a several floor house, with stairs and ladders, dig down, have several exits, have an exit on every level (which is not a direct fall, of course, and when I run out of space, it'll be a direct fall into water)
Oyea, and each floor is different material!
Wood, dirt, stone, glass, iron, gold, sand, gravel... gold'll be hard to find though.
Also, for the height, I like to put a 1x1 or 1x2 tower really high. So I can see my home from faraway!
Can I set a new poll option:
1 diamond=5 lapis=10 redstone=25 gold=50 iron=75 clay=100 coal=200 stone=200 planks

Thanks for the comment. I own the general store that sells the rooms. Worked hard on it! Hope to see you claim a spot soon!

lol actually come to think of it, that is a bit low, but I'll change it after you build. No 1x1 towers or anything, Sunny Acres is a purely "pretty" neighborhood. Height limit...3 floors for now. I'll look at it later and see if it's too tall or if you can build more after that. Also, try to make it relatively small (a bit bigger than the houses I built, but not huge).
Oh, and I'm pretty sure the poll is over and we're just doing A. Sorry, I forgot to take it down.

How high is a floor? (yes, I just have to ask)
5 blocks high or 6? 5 is sufficient that you can look up, but 6 gives you much more room.
Or 4, just enough for you to stand? (i'm including the floor and ceiling each time for each floor)
Don't worry, my houses are small.
But I can go as deep as I want, that doesn't matter, right?

Look at the template houses
I assume so

That i don't know. I have a door at the back of my house to get to my private tree farm, but as long as they can't see it, I Assume it would be OK (I'm just using my brains, no outsources)
