I am a tech guy/ geek ftw as well. You could set up a broadcasting system for your town like I was planning a while ago but never did. I was planning to do this:

Broadcast plan
have your broadcast equipment broadcast the audio feed out your window at a low-short range frequency to a big repeater with a receiving antenna on top of a telephone pole attached to a very high frequency quartz crystal which receives the weak incoming signal from your house about fifteen feet away, amplifies the signal a ton, then broadcasts it at a very powerful frequency all across your town / neighborhood. I was also planning on putting more repeaters on two other telephone poles that take the signal from the first repeater and broadcast it again to other parts of the town.

Approval from the town would be needed of course. If you live in a big city, you could not broadcast to the whole town. Or, for a neighborhood station you could always broadcast at a powerful frequency out your window.

I think as long as the signal doesn't travel more than 5km you don't need a broadcasting licence (If the content is entirely your own work or you've gotten permission).

Well in my area.
180MHz + is for airtraffic. (For the airport)
160MHz - 180MHz for general airtraffic.
FM is around 70MHz - 130MHz.

You will need to use an unused frequency and not an emergency one.
You could "Buy" a spot on people's antennas to broadcast all over.

Will some stranger hosts it for me(form the blockland forums). but for the other i use Free(00webhost(its bad),Wix,I used to use Webs). For making the Website its Joomla! and the forum system its SMF,phpbb,Or Mybb. If that(Joomla) doesnt work Notepad++
