Hi, four things, first of all, I vote we use slimeballs as money, andeveryone gets a set amount of slimeballs each turn, also, all of you who don't want to use a server, because you have hacked the game, there is a setting on servers to make people like you able to get on.  third of all, I think we should make a texture pack for scratchia.  and lastly, here is the save: http://www.mediafire.com/?v2bx6f6xel55mvz

No, so what I'm saying is we start using ores as currency (e.g. iron = dollars). We give ores a set value (e.g. 1 iron = 20 coal, or whatever). Then, since it's currency, you have to be able to cash a dollar for four quarters or vice-versa, so we create a bank, or ore/currency trading building.

But think- Scratchia has no government and doesn't collect taxes, so where will the ore in the ore chests come from? Someone wouldn't just donate all their ore to the bank, would they? That's where the beauty of this idea comes in- the ore in the ore chests is yours! Well, only if you want it to be. See, you can put some of your ore in the ore chests to allow people to trade their four quarters for your dollar, or their dollar for your four quarters! You get the same value as before, but the money will come in different forms!

But wait, this is your ore, shouldn't you get something out of it for the trouble you're going through? If your ore is traded for someone else's ore, then they have to pay a fee. It's a small fee though- for every ten ore they trade, you get one more of the ore they're trading (unless it's diamonds). So they trade 5 iron for whatever coal equals in relation to iron, they have to give 1 more iron as a small fee. They trade 15 iron, they have to give you two more iron (i.e. 17 iron) than they're trading.

If they're trading 3 or less diamonds, the fee is 5 iron ingots. If they're trading over 3 diamonds, the fee is 8 iron ingots.

Remember, the person who's allowing their dollars to be traded for dimes is the person that collects the fee! Also, think of it as an easy way to get some money while waiting for your turn without having to own a shop.

Well, if I can borrow an iron pickaxe, then I'll start the bank. I found this huge mine, so when I get the save, I can harvest a ton of goodies. I'll have at least 1 diamond, iron, coal, and other ores.

It's daytime in gbear's server now, apparently nobody else's here.
