Mostly left but I do use the right when my left hand is busy or I'm typing with one hand (It keeps my hand near the enter key).
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

I'm right handed, but I use L(eft)shift. I bet a lot of righties use Leftshift.

Left. Right is awkward when sneaking into enemy bases, can't really use the mouse (prefers right hand for mouse).

I always use my left. I don’t even think about using the right. And it only slows my touch typing if I use both of them.

If I'm typing symbols, or using keyboard shortcuts, I use the left one.
Otherwise I use the most appropriate for what I'm capitalising.
I never use caps lock. (But sometimes I hit it accidentally instead of the letter a, so I end up typing something like this: "whT DO YOU Men?" )
