It's not that it isn't funny, it's that it's pushing the good projects off the front page. How would you feel if you worked on a project for six months, hoping to get the front page, and then you publish it, and it can't get on the front page because there's "LOL" on there instead?

It is a bit funny, but I see it as depriving others of the front page, which they entirely deserve. Maybe they could have it like that for a day, and then take the projects off? Maybe the LOL could be on the 404 page? I like scmb1's idea, too. Maybe we could find a really awesome project, that doesn't have many views, and all give it the Love-it's it deserves? No, he said he was "curious to see if it can be done." Personally, i hope it can't be done. anyways, i managed to convert a scratcher from supporting the idea to unsupporting it so I guess we should start replying to everyone who says they support it and giving our side of the issue. I'm sure everyone who loves JIM's idea never has deeply considered not supporting it.

I have considered it, I've been looking at this Forum for a while, and I don't get why you guys are so worked up over a funny gimmick!

I read all the posts on this tread. Took me a couple minutes thiks morning to catch up..    Top loved is for what the community loves.If the community loves the idea, why not just love the concept project? Plus, why not have it as one project? Take less room. plus, 6 months is a lot of time. I mean, it could be curated or Featured, but, well, it would deserve loved, and that brings us to the topic of fame, counteracting my post in a sad sense.

Yeah, there's three words called 'front paged Later' or four words 'In another section'. And anyways, I never get views on my good things, so why should I expect views?

I have considered it, I've been looking at this Forum for a while, and I don't get why you guys are so worked up over a funny gimmick!

JIM is using his fame to push a simple idea to the front page, where it will hog the top loved section. If any ol' scratcher wanted to try that idea, no one would even care. If JIM's idea succeeds, then that means that famous scratchers can post whatever they want and get it their way. The front page would be controlled by the few and people would get discouraged and start quitting left and right.

Which is exacly what we don't want. Then, as you either said or implied, the Front page would be practically ruled by the famous. If the famous all act exactly like JIM, then it would be a very sad almost dictatorship, other than Featured and curated. But, to counteract a post frog made a while ago, some famous people would work to make sure others get some fame too.

JIM's Idea is funny to me. Its not his fame  that makes its funny, its just funny!

Super Mario Galaxy V4 is the best game ever on scratch.
