Hello ALL
Hi, im new i heard about scratch from a freind and thought it would be a great idea to try out.
Its been about 4 hours now and ive completed(for the most part so far) one game already, and even got my ten yr old little brother to get started in his own.
I look forward to make and playing with everyone round here.

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome in, i realy like the program, i came here looking for something to help my siblings learn more about games and programming, and now i find that scratch fullfilled that need completely, thanks guys.

Hi guys i was wondering if someone could help me now
ive found my first real issue in scratch for the first game ive been makeing in the last few days.

The issue is the green space ship that floats across, i made it shoot towards me, soo it floats to the left, hides, and starts over again from the right, all the while shooting.
Now in hiding it waits 5 seconds before going again, my problem is here
When its hideing, its still shooting, how can i stop that and make it only shoot while its visible?
