I actually like different things from most nationalities, but i will chose my top 4...
Latino (Mexican falls under this)
Asian (Fried Rice is teh bomb, and so is Pad Thai)
Indian (Tikka Marsala is a drug to me...)
American (Need my fries every so often...Besides nothing beats a burger.)
God, saying all this makes me sound like I eat all the time...

One thing. Hamburgers originated in Germany, and I'm not sure about French Fries.
I'm still on the lookout for a true American food. xD

Although Hamburgers originated in Germany, Americans adapted them. They are now almost a symbol of American cuisine.
Just like how Chicken Tikka Masala is sometimes called Britain's Favorite Dish, and is served everywhere there, even though it is Indian food.
And Americas national dishes are Hamburger, Hot Dog and Apple Pie

Yes, but not many foods I know of ORIGINATED in America.
EDIT: Hot Dogs were made in Frankfurt, Germany.
