i use both depending on what i'm typing
anything left of the g key, i usually use the left shift for (except 5)
so for anything right of the g i use the right

Left-shift. tHE cAPS lOCK iS aNNOYING. In fact, I have my caps-lock disabled.

If you're a proper touch typer, you use whichever one is on the opposite side of the letter you're pressing, e.g. to type a capital 'W', you use the right shift, and for a capital 'P', you use the left shift.

I use both shift keys, depending on the letter I'm capitalizing. (That's what they tell you in typing class, isn't it?  tongue ) For example, I used right-shift for this sentence because "f" is on the left side of the keyboard. Letters on the right side differ though. Interestingly, I tend to use the right shift for I even though it's on the right side of the keyboard, so I should use the left for efficiency.

Verdict: Mostly right, but sometimes left.

Both. Normally I use the one opposite the hand I'm going to type the letter with.

Left. I only use right if I'm typing with one hand.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I only use the left one because I press the delete button so much that my right pinky is already occupied. Sometimes I use my ring finger though, but I still can't reach for my shift key  tongue
