Scratch vocabulary.

Anything made in scratch is a                                   ScratchIt

Someone who makes stuff in scratch is a                    Scratchist or a Scratcher

Someone who is a fan of scratch is a                          ScratchFan

hehe

I just thought this was funny.

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

I like that you are thinking of better and clever words for Scratch  smile

We call "Scratch project" to what you create in Scratch. I don't like that term, it's a bit dry.

I call "programmable media" to the category of things you can create in Scratch.

I saw in one of your projects you called it "Scratchlet". I liked that.

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

I like "Scratcher" for a Scratch programmer, and "Scratch Fan" is not bad, but
"Scratch project", "Scratch program", "Scratch script", and "Scratch sprite" are clearer and more useful than "ScratchIt".

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

I disagree with ScratchExpert. You can upload 100 noninteractive projects and be no more expert than if you uploaded 1.

Although if you upload 1 project that's better than any other project on the site... then you're a ScratchGenius.

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

Instead of  saying   ScratchExpert  I'd say           Scratchpert    and instead   of ScratchGenius                Scratchenius.

Well anyway.

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

When I go to play with Scratch I usually tell my friends that I'm gonna go scratching. I guess that fits in this thread.

Re: Scratch vocabulary.

Scratched = ScratchD              Scratcher = ScratchR
Someone with a Featured project should be a ScratchExpert
