Hello guys,
I know on the home page, on the 3rd row are the feature projects choosen by curators but what about the second row? who chose them to be featured, is it automatic? also when you click on "see more" it says :feature, surprise and friends's latest. is the projects under "surprise" have better quality?

The Scratch Team features them. There's a topic where you can recommend cool projects to be featured in Announcements.

The Scratch team picks the featured projects, and surprise projects is just a listing of projects randomly selected by the server. smile

I am writing about quality of Scratch projects and wondering if they use specific assesment to feature a project or user perception to what constitue a good quality project smile thank you!
