I see you you were pulled in by my cry for help. I plan to make a game with multiple levels (7). I have very little programming experince (a little TI-Basic) and I would like to set up so that when you go across the screen (side-scrolling) you can activate a mini game on each level. I also would like to have a timer, score, and health. I want to add in a villians (take away points and/or lifes.) and cutscenes . I am unsure where to start, but I only need some direction and key topics. I also would like permission to cite any especially helpful user names in my ackwonledgements page/citation.

Try a less complicated game, or pester archmage until he gives you the code.
When I started Scratch, I wanted to make something that would beat WoW. I failed when I couldn't draw a cool enough sword.

Okay thanks. I have limited it down to a simple side scrolling. I have found info on health but not timers , but I don't really need one to bad. I will keep looking for that. I am going to have stick figures. I have a a question for making minigames. if you sweitch backgrounds can you make a new objective.
