The Scratch Team will probably contact you and ask you why you flagged it instead of banning you immediately, so just reply to them telling them it was an accident.
Also if it's a tag, I doubt it's a serious offense for flagging it.

It used to be that someone would accidently flag something every other week, so I think the Scratch Team will understand

The Scratch Team said that they'll let a few mistakes pass, but if you do it three (or so) or more times they might take action

I accidentally flagged a tag once, but nothing happened to me. There was no contacting either or bannishment. So, I don't think you should worry about it. I mean, I'm not banned...yet?
Don't worry!

Nothing will happen probably, its a really easy mistake to make considering how close together the buttons are.
I think the scratch team should do something about the layout.

I also did that accidentally once before. Nothing happened.

I accidentally do that a lot. If it's an honest mistake, they'll understand. And you won't get banned over one error.
