There's nothing wrong with posting a bunch of helpful links, especially in a thread from a New Scratcher saying hello in the community. Additionally, sometimes even New Scratchers turn to certain users, admin or not, for some help in trying to figure out the community works. Everyone can help each other out - you don't necessary need to turn to an admin for answers.
