Hey everybody! big_smile

How can you edit your posts on the forum? I saw some people's posts saying eg "Last edited by _______ on 2012. December 21"
How do you do it? Do you have to be a Scratcher? Do you have to press a button or something?

Please help!

Yes, you have to be a Scratcher, when you are there's a button in the bottom right next to "Quote" that says "Edit," and you can edit what you said.

Yup, you have to be a Scratcher. If you're wondering how to do that, you just need to be active on the site and forums until you're upgraded by a member of the Scratch team. Don't worry; it won't be that long! smile

I'm not sure why that restriction was allowed, so it'd be nice if someone could explain :3 Don't worry Purika, they definitely didn't do it to give you a hard time tongue

I think we had some problems with trolls awhile back, so it was implemented to keep them from returning over and over again on throwaway accounts.

I'm talking about the edit restriction, not the New Scratcher status.

Oh... probably to keep people from flaming and then editing away the evidence before a mod could get to it.
