I just want to know because I may or may not be 14 by then, depending on when it's held. When are they exactly? I know illusionist is conducting a poll, but when are the real elections?

Elections are usually only held when there's a need for more moderators because of an increase in forum activity. To quote fullmoon:

Yes. This restriction has been added because the Scratch Team felt younger kids shouldn't have to deal with some of the content that moderators have to clean up. There was quite an uproar, but they're been pretty firm on it staying.

If it's before summer then I won't be able to run. Oh well, it's a shame. I still have the elections after that...
