there should be a system that u can put a message 2 one person,& other people cant see it,but it could be only 4 ur friends, or u search 4 someone 2 message 2.

This; private messaging, has been suggested before. The Scratch team does not wan't to have to implement it.

Thanks for your suggestion! What you are proposing is called "Private Messaging". Sorry, but it is not going to happen. For safety reasons, the decision was made that all member communications would be open and public on the Scratch site.

You might want to take a look at this topic which discusses suggestions that have been made many times before. Private Messaging is number 6 on the list smile
