When I read that, I choked on a lifesaver from laughing. James is screwed up.

-I really don't need to say any more. "Miniryu no Densetsu", or "The Legend of Dratini", was the second episode to be banned by 4Kids Entertainment. This was the 35th episode of the original Japanese series. It was possibly banned because guns are repeatedly pointed at people threateningly at several points in this episode, and warning shots are fired, and that editing them all out would be difficult for the story. This may or may not also be banned because of a scene where James and Meowth hold a police-style interrogation. In the scene, Meowth wears a mustache resembling that of Adolf Hitler.
-Also, despite the fact that many other mainstream American Saturday morning cartoons feature bombs and refer to these weapons as such, 4Kids is hesitant about saying the "B-word" in Pokemon. Team Rocket can often be found saying ridiculous phrases like "Blaster balls away!" which seems like a really foolish attempt at censorship because most children actually know what a bomb in a cartoon looks like.

A "banned" photo of "repeated firearm use", although no one actually got shot.
I swear to god, the more I look at this thread the less I want to visit Japan.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was originally called Sonic Wild Fire.
Knuckles is considered jamaiacan, due to the fact he has dredlocks (lol) and listens the Blues/Jazzy type music.
But he isn't even from Jamaica, he's from the acient tribe of the Echidnas on Angel Island. But, without intending to be racist, it is notable that black Americans can trace their routes all the way back to Africa or Jamaica, and Knuckles is actually voiced by someone who is black, so I suppose you could describe him slightly Jamaican. But I don't mean to be racist in any way, just a thought.
Here's all the characters with (in my views) the music they are fond of:
Sonic - Rock/Hip-Hop
Shadow - Emo (lol)
Tails - Happy/Hip-Hop
Knuckles - Rap
Eggman/Robotnik - Hardcore Evil
Rouge - Jazz
Amy - JUSTIN BIEBER

Why do we keep getting opinions instead of facts? (Which is what this topic is for?)

In 2008, Japanese researchers discovered a new protein which helps carry electrical impulses from the eyes to the brain and named it Pikachurin. According to the researchers, the decision was based on both Pokémon and protein possessing "lightning-fast moves and shocking electric effects".

Well, Knuckles isn't Jamaican. It had to be pointed out.
