Grr...............

I was riding in my grandmother's car. There was a red light, we stopped, it became green and we went on our way. This man behind us was honking at us, we pulled over, and he said to my grandmother, "You don't run red lights, you stupid female dog." He meant a swear. I was so angry, but my little brother took on the guy's license plate. Should I report him to the police and make up a charge of drunk driving with a cell phone that you can buy at 7-11 and then throw away the phone? Or should I just fume, wishing that I could replay the moment and kick the guy's Rolls Royce and beat him up?

if he wasn't then you probably shouldn't tell the police he was

also, are you sure your brother wrote down the right tag number
because if you aren't sure you probably shouldn't report it

There is nothing the police can or will do about a rude or possibly drunk driver unless they have direct evidence that a crime, such as DUI, has been committed.

Personally, I would let it go. Unless your grandma was really upset by the event, it's best just to forget about the jerks who inhabit the roads and move on.

As fullmoon said, you probably shouldn't report it. There is no point in making such a big deal over something small like that. It would just make a lot of work for the police- if they even decided it was something to look into.
You find that there are lots of rude drivers and you won't be able to do anything about it. I would just let it go if I were you.

Fit CCTV to the car. Then you have evidence.

It's unavoidable that you'll meet rude people in life, and the best thing to do is just to hold your head high and ignore them (unless they physically hurt you, in which case, REPORT AWAY >:-))))))).
