Hi, guys! Thank you so much for attempting to make the Scratch Flash Player!!!
If you don't mind, I'd like to point out some projects that the Flash player did better than the Java, and some that it did worse on.
First, the good:
Here's a thing I made that involves constantly resizing objects: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/dov/1600530
Here's a game that my friend made (Called "~Cold~"). Although it didn't do much better in terms of building the levels (making the 3D scene), moving the little eskimo around was quite seamless, and a far cry from the Java player's attempt.

A game I made that has (basically) no problems in Flash, but is very slow and clunky in Java:

Now for the bad:
Here's a little project I made that was meant to use recordings of numbers being said and combine them. Kind of like when children's toys tell the time. :-) However, it completely doesn't work in Flash. Sometimes it does nothing, sometimes it just says the word "hundred."

I'm not sure why, but this screensaver-like thing I made works better in Java than in Flash:

Thanks again so much for the effort, and I hope it'll become better!

Pure and simple this is the best thing that has ever came to scratch since the birth of scratch. Now a whole bunch of scratchers will be able to do more with scratch. The only thing that I found out about this is that the projects actually work better online then off. That is good news while bad news at the same time. The reason why its bad news is that that now scratch will be demanding a larger byte space. Other then that I fill this is the greatest update on scratch.

Cool, I found out how to use the forums.
Anyways, I think the... what was it, flash? The flash thing works better, but the loader is wierd, it always goes to the left side of the "project box" so you can only see half of it. Wierd. =P

The new flash-based player didn't help, even though it works when you download it.

Congratulations! This must be a major breakthrough!
It works pretty well, but full screen mode does not fit on the screen. I am happy to announce that drawing with the pen is now anti-aliased, so circles and lines drawn with pen will be much smoother.
EDIT: Bug report
This project
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/amcerbu/1576239
works with Java but not Flash, and I'm not sure why.
EDIT: Color sensing does not seem to work. Try Goalkeepery's metal 2 project.

I think that it's overall good-but there are a few issues...
1.) I've noticed while using it flash crashes alot...
2.) The fullscreen doesn't work, either that or I don't understand what those arrows mean lol...
3.) The sound freaks out when I scroll.
But it loads faster and looks nicer ^^

I found more bugs.
-You can drag variables with the online flash player
-Lists won't show correctly
That's all I found right now.

Silly puppet.
You can be banned from one part of this website, but not the other.
For example, I know a fellow who was banned from the Text-Based Games section for a day or two, but he was still able to access the main website and forums during thosee two days.
