Today we had a Scratch Dance party during winter break with 12 elementary students and 12 high school student mentors. We made it into a party, complete with balloons, party games and music. Students were able to create their own music for the project, and worked as a "big kid" with "little kid" helper teams. The kids were excited to create a dance off. We used a started example for students to "remix", but most students made their own dances. Considering we had kids from second grade to seniors, the program was very successful. If I can figure out how to upload pictures to the site, I have some great pictures. Projects will be posted under our Roxhill Gallery.
